WELCA is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year.
This year we are using the anniversary theme, Raising Up Healthy
Women and Girls—physical, emotional, and spiritual health, for
our activities and publications in addition to the Act Boldly
triennial theme.

Upcoming Events:
March Watch
for the WELCA link on the SOTH website –
www.sothftc.org. The link will include information on Upcoming
Events, Monthly Fellowship Opportunities, Devotional Pairs Passage
(website will provide more information on this opportunity), Abby Retreat
Schedules, and more.
April 28
WELCA Workshop: Temples of God: Inner Contentment; Program
will address avenues women have for inner contentment at different stages of
life; Workshop will be held at church from 9:00am to 3:00pm: childcare and
lunch will be provided.
May
Daughter/Daughter Event: An optional outdoor event before lunch is being
planned in keeping with the 20th anniversary theme. Look for more
details in the April newsletter.
Monthly Fellowship
Opportunities:
Ruth Circle: Meets the 3rd Monday at 7:15 pm, at
member’s home. This year’s study material: Traveling Light by Max

Lydia/Miriam Circle: Meets the 3rd Wednesday at 9:30 am at
church. Study material: Lutheran Women Today. Next meeting: March 21.

Sewing Circle:
Meets the 2nd Wednesday at 9:30 am at church. Next

WELCA Crafters:
Meets the 2nd Thursday at 6:30 pm at church. Next meeting: March

Meets the 4th Wednesday at 9:00 am at Good Samaritan Village of
