Join us for some time to RE:Fresh! Starting January 4 we invite our young adults to join us on Wednesday nights at 7:15 for a time of Fellowship while we apply scripture to our daily lives. Each month we will have a new theme but each lesson will stand alone so if you miss a Wednesday you won’t be behind. There is no prep work so just show up and enjoy a time to learn and grow in our faith together. If you have questions please contact Jenny at jenny@sothftc.org or (970)482-9692.
RE:Charge – This is a time for our young families to join together to meet other young families and support one another. RE:Charge will take place every 3rd Sunday of the month starting January 15. The meeting time will be right after 2nd service until 1 pm. The best part is that we invite you to bring your kids with you! We will have our nursery attendant stay to help with your children on these Sundays. There will be a different activity each month. One month families might go to the park together and have a picnic. Another month parents might go out to lunch while the children stay with our nursery attendant and watch a movie on the big screen in the Fellowship Hall while enjoying a nutritious lunch.
At our first meeting we will have a potluck in the Fellowship Hall where families can meet one another. You will also be able to meet our RE:Charge leaders, Hilary Swiers and Andy Smith as well as the new nursery attendant. Please sign up to bring a dish at the Welcome Center table or contact Jenny at jenny@sothftc.org or (719)651-5860. We look forward to some time together with you to RE:Charge!
“Footprints in the Sand” : Presented on March 4th at 8:15 & 10:30 Worship Services: You are invited to join us for a special presentation on March 4th. The Adult Choir with guest instrumentalists and narrators will be presenting “Footprints in the Sand” by Joseph Martin. This cantata will walk us through the life of Jesus and will also show us how he walks with us in our daily lives.
The Quake Zone in Denver is coming up April 20 – 22. We will travel down to Denver to enjoy three days of celebration, worship, bible study, and fun activities. This event is for both middle school and high school youth. There is still room so register today! The cost is only the deposit of $66 per person! Please register with Jenny by February 8.
