The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-24
We share the sacrament of Holy Communion at every worship service at Shepherd of the Hills. From the table of communion where Jesus Christ comes with forgiveness, life, and salvation, God sends us out to share the good news and to care for those in need.
When someone is homebound or hospitalized and unable to attend worship, we take Holy Communion to them. Pastor Dana sanctifies the bread and wine during Sunday worship so that our Eucharistic Ministers are able to take and share it with those desiring communion.
