Serving Our Community

One of SOTH’s core values is “Impacting the Greater Community and Our World through our Compassion and Generosity.”  This congregation loves to serve others, whether through the Alternative Giving Fair 2011, the food drive for the Larimer County Food Bank, supporting the Homelessness Prevention Initiative,  or Lutheran Campus Ministry at CSU, we want to be involved in our community.  The ministries of the ELCA and Lutheran World Relief allow us to serve on a global level as well.

Another core value “Intergenerational Caring Community.”  That is, we are intentional about connecting generations for worship, learning, fellowship and service.  Throughout the year there are many opportunities for all ages to come together as followers of Christ.  Multigenerational isn’t a buzz word for us; it’s part of our DNA!
